Legal Aid Clinic

Priti Academy Law College runs its Legal Aid Clinic under the able guidance of District Legal Service Authority. Priti Academy Law College received the permission from the District Legal Services Authority of Thane, Maharashtra and it is now encouraging the students to be the part of Legal Aid Clinic by participating in its activities. College has a dedicated space for Legal Aid Clinic such that it enables the students to carry out the activities more efficiently.

Objectives and Functions-: 

As Priti Academy Law College is working under the guidance and supervision of District Legal Services Authority, the primary objective of the Legal Aid Clinic is to ensure the achievement of the objectives set out by the District Legal Services Authority, Maharashtra. 

• Legal Aid, Advice and Assistance – To eligible Categories before Courts/Tribunals and Assistance through aid made available by DLSA.
• Awareness and Outreach Program – To make the people of deprived sections of society aware about their rights, entitlements and assist them in actualization of the same under Welfare laws and Schemes of the Central and State Government.
• To Bridge the gap – To provide Legal literacy, awareness and bridge the gap between the legally available benefits and the entitled beneficiaries.
