DLLE
The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension [DLLE] (known earlier as Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension) established on October 12, in the Year 1978 and has been recognized as a statutory Department of the University of Mumbai since 1994 to promote a meaningful and sustained rapport between the Universities and the community. The DLLE offers flexible Continuing Education opportunities for the people. As a well-founded academic Department of the University of Mumbai, the Department is committed both to the highest standards of excellence, and to ensuring that the University’s unparalleled academic strengths and resources made available to as many interested learners as possible so as to play a pivotal role in reaching basic education to the masses.
Priti Academy Law College carries out the activities and functions as a Unit of DLLE. Students participating in extension work activities conducted under DLLE are entitled to the benefit of ten grace marks on satisfactory completion of 120 hours of work under various extension work projects.
Objective :
As Priti Academy Law College is a unit and works under the guidance of DLLE, Mumbai University, the primary objective is to participate in the activities and work towards achieving the objectives set out by DLLE (Mumbai University) from time to time. And also to ensure that the benefit reaches out to all the stakeholders of the program.
- To serve as an intellectual intervention in the community’s living problems which need to be overcome through an educational process.
- To develop among students a sense of responsibility towards society.
- To design programs that will help students to face life and its challenges and thus create an ambience for a learning society.
- To deepen the Teachers’ and students’ knowledge through a wider exposure to real life situations through a variety of programs.
- To prepare students for greater social commitment.
- To enhance student employability.
- To cater to the needs of the unreached for promoting knowledge-based society.

DLLE Orientation program
The orientation program for the students registered in DLLE was a must to understand the purpose, mission, vision and functions of DLLE (Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension, Mumbai University). Therefore, the orientation program was organized for the benefit of registered students on 18th October 2025, Saturday.

The program was participated attentively by the students and thus benefited by the lecture delivered by the Field Coordinator Mr. Sunil Nambiar Sir.

The training program was organized by the DLLE to provide guidance to the Extension Work Teachers and the Student Managers representing the DLLE unit of college. The objective of the program was to make the representatives understand the operational modalities of DLLE for the ongoing term.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Ki Oar 4.0’ (VK4) Conclave from 16th to 22nd January 2026
A global initiative rooted in the ancient Indian ethos of “The World is One Family,” promoting unity, dialogue, and shared responsibility across borders. The showcase presented a blueprint of 12 Guarantees-practical, time-tested solutions that aimed to usher in global peace and prosperity when embraced collectively. Students of Priti Academy Law College participated and experienced the immersive exhibition spread across 23,000 sq. ft.
The conclave aimed to revive and re-establish timeless principles enshrined in ancient scriptures, specifically in the domains of Artha Niti (Economic Policy), Rajya Niti (Political Thought), Samaj Niti (Social Order), and Nyay Niti (Judicial Policies) for the welfare of the world under the guiding ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

UDAAN FESTIVAL : “UDAAN the Flight of Extension 2025-2026 commencing from 27th January, 2026 at various locations.
Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension organizes Annual Extension Festival title “UDAAN the Flight of Extension”. This year too the Festival was organized at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri & Sindhudurg districts at various locations.
The students of Priti Academy participated and represented the college in this annual festival of DLLE. Students not only participated in various events organized by the DLLE but also grabbed prizes for the college in the event like powada competition organized by DLLE.
