DLLE

The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension [DLLE] (known earlier as Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension) established on October 12, in the Year 1978 and has been recognized as a statutory Department of the University of Mumbai since 1994 to promote a meaningful and sustained rapport between the Universities and the community. The DLLE offers flexible Continuing Education opportunities for the people. As a well-founded academic Department of the University of Mumbai, the Department is committed both to the highest standards of excellence, and to ensuring that the University’s unparalleled academic strengths and resources made available to as many interested learners as possible so as to play a pivotal role in reaching basic education to the masses.

Priti Academy Law College carries out the activities and functions as a Unit of DLLE. Students participating in extension work activities conducted under DLLE are entitled to the benefit of ten grace marks on satisfactory completion of 120 hours of work under various extension work projects.

Objective : 

As Priti Academy Law College is a unit and works under the guidance of DLLE, Mumbai University, the primary objective is to participate in the activities and work towards achieving the objectives set out by DLLE (Mumbai University) from time to time. And also to ensure that the benefit reaches out to all the stakeholders of the program.

  • To serve as an intellectual intervention in the community’s living problems which need to be overcome through an educational process.
  • To develop among students a sense of responsibility towards society.
  • To design programs that will help students to face life and its challenges and thus create an ambience for a learning society.
  • To deepen the Teachers’ and students’ knowledge through a wider exposure to real life situations through a variety of programs.
  • To prepare students for greater social commitment. 
  • To enhance student employability. 
  • To cater to the needs of the unreached for promoting knowledge-based society.
